				<title>Free versions of StarWind iSCSI Target and StarPort iSCSI initiator are announced.</title>
				<description>Rocket Division Software announces free versions of StarWind iSCSI Target and StarPort iSCSI Initiator.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;StarWind, which runs on Microsoft Windows, allows any server or workstation (Windows, Linux, UNIX, etc) to access centralized storage, providing a cost-effective and easy-to-customize method for implementing and gaining all the benefits of a storage area network (SAN).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The free version of StarWind provides up to 2TB of storage capacity and allows only single client host to be connected. Customers requiring enhanced features such as clustering, snapshots, replication and additional storage capacity can choose between the Standard edition for  $395 and the Professional edition for $995. 				<title>StarWind version 3.5 released.</title>
				<description>New version of the product introduces number of improvements and fixes. The most important changes are:&lt;br&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Windows 2008 Server (Longhorn) clustering (persistent reservations) is supported.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;VMware ESX fully compatible. All of the ESX initiator issues successfully workarounded.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;CHAP values generation optimized.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Access to the local unclaimed devices is allowed now.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;iSCSI volume cache synchronization sequence added.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;&amp;quot;Switch active mirror&amp;quot; and fast volume synchronization (MD5 checksum&lt;br&gt;calculated) added to the Mirror (RAID1) plug-in.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Mirror synchronization progress indication added.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Windows 2000 SP4 support re-enabled.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Volume data compression and encryption added.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Target now can force-remove connected initiators.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Fast image file creation sequence added. Now more &amp;quot;delayed write&amp;quot; issues on the first write to the image file.&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt;Variable disk geometry supported. 				<title>StarBurn SDK version 7.2.20 released.</title>
				<description>StarBurn SDK Version 7.2.20 has been released. List of fixes/updates since the prior build (7.1.10) includes:&lt;br&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt; Now StarBurn SDK comes with SPTD transport. It is set of filter drivers allowing to bypass any broken SCSI filter. Burning should be ROCK solid from now. Take a look at FindDeviceExEx sample (GUI samples would be updated a bit later).&lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt; GUI samples fixed and re-worked. Lots of bugs fixes since previous very first new UI samples release. &lt;br&gt;&lt;li&gt; JStarBurn.dll and whole Java wrapper for StarBurn SDK is shipped with the core SDK. 				<title>StarWind 3.2.2 released.</title>
				<description>Rocket Division Software has released version 3.2.2 of StarWind iSCSI Target for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Longhorn (32-bit and 64-bit versions). &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This version includes the following changes:&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;New &lt;b&gt;DiskBridge plug-in&lt;/b&gt; implemented. Now whole hard disk can be represented as SCSI-3 compatible iSCSI target volume. Now broken RAID and SCSI controllers should always work with VMware ESX, MSCS and other virtual machines.&lt;li&gt;Huge SAN volume creation optimized. From now multi-terrabyte SAN volumes would be created much faster compared to the previous versions. &lt;li&gt;Buffer alignment changed to workaround RAID and SCSI controllers reporting byte alignment when they really need word or double word. No more occasional write errors on very rare controller models. &lt;li&gt;Fixed several minor problems found in 3.2.1&lt;li&gt; On-line help updated to describe added features.</description>
