Hello,
How can I copy a disc (audio cd, data cd, data dvd etc..) using a laptop? I.e. having a single tray? Is that possible with the free version? If so, could you tell me how to do it step by step?
Thanks

Create an image (or set of files in case of AudioCD) and burn it later using the same drive.

Yes, But HOW??? I have never seen software with worse help than StarBurn. I have been trying to copy a DVD all morning and I can't figure it out and the help is exactly no help. I *think* I am supposed to grab the info on the DVD and then .... where is it to burn onto the DVD??? the wizards are great, but what to do next???? the previous poster asked for "step by step" info.... I would ask for the same. Please.

Hello,

------------------------------------------
For copy Audio CD please use two wizards: "Grab Audio" and "Burn Audio".
1 step:
By "Grab Audio" you copy your Aduio CD tracks on the hard drive.
2 step:
By "Burn Audio" wizard you burn this files from hard drive to the blank CD-R or CD-RW disc.

------------------------------------------

For copy Data CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disc please use two wizards: "Grab Image" and "Burn Image".
1 step:
By "Grab Image" wizard you copy content of your data disc to the ISO image file and save this file on the hard drive.
2 step:
By "Burn Image" wizard you can burn this ISO image from hard drive to the blank CD/DVD/Blu-Ray disc.

The only thing that i think is missing is this copy disc feature, so both the creation and the burning of the image is done in one pass.

Would consider implementing this in a next version of starburn?

Not really... You can use ripping + buring wizards to copy disc. Re-mastering two wizards into one under "copy" name is a bit time consuming and does not add any new features.
