I wanted to check in with the board for any known issues on this drive:

Sony Opitarc AD7240S FW 1.02

Running starburn 10.0.0.4640 core

application - ripping data from cd and DVD data discs.

Cd data discs rip fine, DVD data discs error out and fail to rip, without exception . my debug messages:

Failed to set maximum read speed.
Error 8 'CStarBurn_ScsiTransportASPI::ExecuteCDB(): Command failed'
SCSI driver returned 0xB60000000001C0

I have not had this problem on any other drive, which of course suggests a firmware issue on the drive working with starburn

Can anyone from the team at RD shed light on this as a known issue? or has it been addressed in a later release? I am stumped...

Thank you.

1) Version 10 is outdated and not supported any more. Upgrade to 10.5 at least or wait for V12 we'll release on Nov 30th.

2) Information you've provided is not enough. Check the FAQ and generate debug log so we could be 100% sure what's wrong.

3) We did indeed have issues with this and xx20 model of the same device and these issues has been fixed with V12.
