Hello All,

I want to install Starskin on a Dutch version of Windows XP (SP2-final) and get the famous error message:

"cannot patch uxtheme.dll" or "unable to copy driver".

Are these messages related to the different language of Windows?
Which options do I have?

Thank you,
Wilbert

Hello.

StarSkin language settings are not related to Windows language however StarSkin fully supports internationalization. You can change StarSkin interface language by right clicking and selecting "Change Language". Unfotunately we do not currently provide dutch languge but you can modify some of StarSkin messages by modifying language file (do not forget to load modified language file) , i.e eng.lng or fr.lng

Hi,

Yes, we support internationalized Windows XP. But it seems that you don't have administration rights, if you have both these messages.

Regards,
Alexey.
